Weird title right?
Not really - I learned along time ago that accepting the word "No" is not a big deal, not personal and not offensive.
Say you are a door to door salesman - you cannot do you job if you cannot accept the word "no" and move on.
Say you are trying to buy a car and the finance department says "no" due to your credit history - again, move on and find another way to get some wheels.
I realize this all sounds really simplistic and easy, but in fact it is. "No's" do not hurt you, they do not destroy you and they do not control you. Just because you are turned down for a sale or a car or whatever, it isn't because of YOU personally. There are extenuating reasons that may have something or nothing to do with you - it is just that simple. The "no" response has nothing to do with you as a person and in order for you to move on, you must realize and understand this.
It is a difficult lesson to learn and understand because we are driven by our emotions.
